While visiting or staying with us, it is important to note the following guidelines that ensure the comfort of everyone in the hospital:

Billing

Your stay will be reviewed before admission and approved based on medical necessity criteria and will cover most services provided during your inpatient rehabilitation stay, as long as you continue to meet criteria. The Medical Director will evaluate whether you meet these criteria, but this is always subject to Medicare/Insurance review. If there are limitations in your coverage, your case manager will discuss these with you, as well as alternative resources to help meet your needs.

Out-of-pocket expenses that you may incur will depend upon your specific insurance coverage, co-payments, benefits, and eligibility. Most patients may need to purchase durable medical equipment (wheelchair, walker, commode) for discharge needs. Insurance coverage for this equipment varies.

Cafeteria

Our patients are provided meals approved for their unique health conditions by a team of health care professionals and prepared with each patient’s treatment and recovery in mind. Visitors to the hospital may purchase snacks or hot meals in the cafeteria, located on the ground level.

Cell Phone/Telephone

Patients and visitors may quietly use personal cellular phones inside the hospital so long as the devices do not interfere with patient privacy or the hospital’s healing environment. A telephone is located in each patient’s room with a private telephone number for direct dialing to the patient.

Flower and Balloon Information

We restrict plants and flowers in patient-care areas where patients are highly immunosuppressed, such as those with cancer or who are recovering from a transplant. Latex balloons are not permitted.

Parking

Free parking is provided for patients and visitors in parking lots on the hospital campus.

Pastoral/Spiritual Care

Our chaplains are available to address emotional and spiritual issues. Their services include individual and group consultations, prayer support and referrals to spiritual resources upon the patient’s discharge by the hospital.

Visiting Hours

Regular visiting hours are generally from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult when visiting the hospital.

Visitors may be required to follow certain procedures, depending on the patient's condition. The nurse staff will provide specific instructions for visiting these patients.

Wi-Fi

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for all patients and families. Users should note the connection is not encrypted and that users assume all responsibility for access.
